Michael Jackson Forced To Sell Neverland?

Michael Jackson has been formally apprised of the foreclosure of his California Neverland Valley ranch. The property will be foreclosed and sold on March 19 unless the former "King of Pop" forks over nearly $25 million.

State authorities ordered the ranch shuttered in 2006 and fined Jackson for failing to pay ranch employees and for not maintaining proper insurance. Jackson's zoo animals have also since reportedly been removed.

According to legal documents, if Jackson fails to pay the estimated $24.5 million, Neverland would be sold to the highest bidder at a public auction.

No comments have so far been received from Jackson or anyone whose job it is to respond on his behalf.

Not Dead Yet. Yahoo! Launches Buzz

Despite premature rumors of its demise, Yahoo! launched a new social bookmarking space called Yahoo! Buzz. Like Digg and other social bookmarking services, users can vote on a story, and the more votes a story gets, the more prominent its location on the relevant page.

The idea is, once again similar to other well-known services, is to uncover and deliver the most interesting and relevant content from Web sites across the Internet to the Yahoo! Buzz homepage. However, user preference isn’t the only factor that will determine how well a story places. Yahoo! will also be looking at their search engine logs to identify hot or breaking news. Submitted stories on that topic will then get an extra boost in the Buzz rankings.

Wii 3.2 Update

A minor update was announced by Nintendo for the Wii console. What it basically comes down to is allowing you to update your Wii console before playing a game that requires newer firmware than you currently have.

Nintendo states, "We would like to inform you that you can now update your Wii Menu to version 3.2. To do this, please press the Update button at the bottom of your screen. Once installed, if a Game Disc is inserted into the Wii console and an update is required, a notification message will be displayed across the Disc Channel alerting you to update your system. If no update is needed, the title of the Game Disc inserted will be displayed. After February 26th, those who have already done the update will not need to update again."

Somewhat good news for the gamers. The rest of us will keep our eyes on CNN...
